Workout of the Week #17

Burn fat and build muscle with our weekly gym challenge. Workout of the Week #17: Med ball slams and box jumps

Take on your Men's Fitness workout of the week, a new 52-part series to keep you inspired and challenged for 2015. We'll post a new workout every Monday and for an added incentive, we'll take on the workout too so you can see how your best time compares with a member of the MF team.

Workout of the Week #17

Do three rounds of 20 10kg med ball slams and 20 box jumps as fast as you can.

How to do the workout:
Grab a 10kg med ball, a plyo box that's comfortable to jump up to, and enough space not to get in the way of anyone else in the gym. Do the med ball slams, and then go right into the box jumps. Repeat three times over.

MF's best time: 6min 23sec (set by head of digital content Max Anderton - who claims that's a rubbish time because he did it off the back of a pretty tough workout!)
